Hey All, we have a new addition to the 2hawk household I thought you might like to meet- born 10-25-2015, and just home last Saturday. :)

After a good meal, and ready to watch movies:

Helping out in the office with Amos:

We'd forgotten how much like having a new baby a puppy is, but we've already gotten him onto a good (fairly predictable) schedule, and he's already learned to head for the kitchen door when he needs to go. Pretty smart for 8-1/2 weeks!

His parents are both products of https://kraftwerkk9.com and he looks like he is going be a big boy by his lineage. We are just in love! Except for the crying in the kennel, and the chewing, and....well you get the idea! ;)

At that age he should be in a crate at night. I found that if I keep the crate beside my bed, so the pup can hear that I am there and I can reach down and reassure it if it starts to cry, they very quickly the pup will settle in and get quiet.

Wow, this guy's a love (like) magnet!

You made my wife go "aww," several times.

Yeah, we're in a constant state of "aww", in between the "NO Stavo!!!" admonishments. But, we've had GSD puppies before, so we have a pretty fair idea of what to expect. The Monks of New Skete are pretty much our guides for this one, and they really know about German Shepherds.

His crate is his safe place, we never stick him in as punishment- and when he gets Amos riled, that's where he's headed, no encouragement needed!

Here's a photo of his dad, Yavo:

My wife says, "ooh he's pretty."
