I have a typical wooden mailbox post, vertical wood with the horizontal wooden outrigger for the mailbox. A few weeks ago, my carrier put a small brown package in the space between the mailbox and the vertical post. I had a delivery notice, but the mailbox was empty. It took me a few minutes to see the package, because it was the same color as the post.
