Being on the local fire department, we made extra money burning down unwanted buildings. One such burn, much like the photo above, was next to a county road. We set it alight in the morning and had the building surrounded with engines and firefighters. You can't believe the backlash we got by the people who witnessed us just standing around doing nothing while a house burnt to the ground. Several letters were written to the editorial section of the local paper complaining about our inaction. A petition was about to be started to cancel our charter and request a tax refund.
