I'm passing the last one on to my gf, who teaches biology and genetics at university. A few of her students each year would be far better suited as a "Joe" rather than struggling with subjects for which they seemingly have no aptitude.
From a recent article on Freudian slips. Apparently an old joke among psychology students:
My understanding is that Freudian slips can often be found in exclusive lingerie salons, along with Erin-go bras.
Once upon a time, my college roommate and I went into a couple of lingerie stores and asked if they had any of the above items. We were met with denials that they had either of those brands, or offers to go look and see if they did. Sigh.

The sales staff (can we actually say "girls" these days?) had probably been warned that such enquiries were the equivalent of a new mechanic at an industrial site being sent to get a "sky hook."
Of course, if you had started giggling before you finished your enquiry, you probably gave yourselves away.
Might this have been about the time Toim Lehrer wrote Bright College Days?
