A few weeks ago Ruthie was in the kitchen preparing to make a tuna casserole with two cans of big box house brand tuna. I heard grumblings followed by a loud "well, I'll be dipped"!

The cans were defective. The lips were too tall and neither of the can openers blades could reach the lids.

I was called into action to save the day.

A lifer showed me how to gently crimp the hinge with pliers. Never had it open on me unless I needed it to be.
