My best friend
When the big day came, "I want a divorce." I replied, "Ok." I realized that I had lived longer with my best friend, since our first day in AF basic training, than I had with my wife. He had just received orders to go to England.
Happily, I found out 6 months later that he and my EX-wife were getting married. I have since learned that they may have been a happy couple, but their children made their lives a living hell.
It is absolutely amazing the things you can learn when you do a background check on yourself. She died at 42, their daughter was a career criminal beginning at age 15, the son is an Art History professor, PHD type.
