What will you do for Memorial Day? Who will you honor?

I get to sound TAPS at 7 different services here in Billings Montana....very honored to do so.

I am a real deal live in person bugler....NO recordings around as long as I am alive and sound good playing.

I played taps for the American Legion when I was growing up. I stood at the flagpole at Ft Meade and blew taps for several fallen soldiers. Used a cornet tho. Good on You for blowing a real bugle, and thanks for Your efforts.

I always think about my paternal grandfather, late father-in-law and uncle... all great men that helped make me and the world better...

My grandson was selected to play Taps at his high school's Memorial Day remembrance a couple of years ago but he let another band member whose dad was deployed play it instead. That's the kind of young man he is. I am very proud of him.
