While I saw more S&W's today, than at the previous shows, the pickings still remain a bit slim. There were a couple of 1917's, some Model 29's, a couple of Model 27's, and several others in J, K, L, M, and N frames. I happened across this piece at one of the vendors. I've done business with him before, and he has some decent specimens.
This particular revolver has all matching numbers, stocks matched to the frame, and beautifully fitted. It does have a small amount of tiny freckling in a couple of spots, but not a show stopper. It doesn't look to have had but a few rounds put through it, and the recoil shield has no imprinting.
I took it home, cleaned it, and used a bit of Mothers on it, and waxed the metal and stocks. This is its "baby" picture.
