I just received my six that I ordered from MidWay and they are all assembled correctly. Thank you for your nice video anyway.

GUYS IF YOU JUST BOUGHT THE NEW MAGS (march 1014) FROM MIDWAY USA, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE = THE ORANGE FOLLOWERS ARE UPSIDE DOWN!!! DO NOT TRY AND USE THEM AS IS!!

A SIMPLE DIY REPAIR VIDEO IS AVAILABLE ON YOUTUBE (linked below)

They must be from the same batch that I got from Golden Tactical last month. Or from the same assembly personnel at S&W. Had no problem once they were assembled correctly.

once my followers were flipped around; they worked fine. glad to see its not pandemic! lol

I just checked the 4 I received from Smith and Wesson directly today and they are put together correctly

My Midway order has arrived with 2 mags correctly assembled. But thank you for posting the heads up!

I got two from Midway couple days ago
Both followers were upside down....
F~n Morons working at S&W..... Scarry.......

Virtually all magazines, for any firearm manufacturer, are made by 3rd party suppliers. I doubt any S&W employee ever touched them.

Lousy QC on someone's part, I agree.

The Smith & Wesson Rep eluded to it while I was standing with the owner of Magpul at the Shot Show in 2013.

The owner (Rich F.) just smiled.

I took that as a yes.....

Pretty sure that the mags are made by Magpul.
weird on the QC, they are usually better.

MagPul has publicly stated on several occasions that they do not manufacture .22 LR magazines for S&W. Neither are they made by ProMag.

S&W does not identify their magazine supplier, no matter what winks may have been made at some show.

1 good, 1 bad...

OK, I tried out my new mags today and one was fine, the other upside down. Thanks to you folks for giving me the heads up on the issue.
