I am rehabilitating a 625-6 with MIM internals. Timing is a hair slow, probably not enough to worry about. However, if I decide to fit an oversized hand to fix the timing, is there any difference between MIM hands and earlier machined hands? There's no distinction made in Brownell's catalog. BTW, this gun does not have a floating hand.

Only problem you may have is the over size hand is to big, I would order one of each and try the standard hand first. Look at the old hand, where the little beak is sticking out has it been filed down and the edges not square. If so a new standard hand will fix the problem.

Thanks for the advice, guys. The hand didn't look any different to me, but most of the gun's internals are MIM, and this is the first MIM 625 I've worked on. Therefore, ask the question here and get good answers. :)
