Mini Rant - Drive right, pass left!!

And nobody appointed you to enforce the law on how fast you can go.
And I don't try. There are times and places were I cruise in the left lane, but I do look in the mirror and get out of the way of somebody gaining on me.

Could we get back to something important like the difference between a "clip" and a "magazine."? This traffic cop stuff is getting old.

I miss the "good old days " when a slow moving motorist would see he was holding up traffic and pull over to allow others to get past
That is called "Courtesy".

Courtesy is essentially polite behavior or actions. It encompasses showing respect, consideration, and good manners towards others. This can include simple acts like holding a door open for someone, offering a seat, or saying "please" and "thank you". It also extends to more significant actions like offering help, being mindful of others' needs, and respecting their property and space.

This is primarily the reason I stay in the left lane. In theory if I'm all the way to the left I only have to deal with traffic to my right.

The main Interstate driving I do is between Colorado Springs and Denver. I do not want to get stuck in the middle of the pack of those idiots
In the metro speedways, I try to be in the lane I will need, or at least close to it.
Theres no guarantee that anyone will let to make the required lane changes if you plan your route poorly. It doesn't make the I80 Gran Prix enjoyable, but it does make things less stressful

I don't try to stop speeders, I just wonder why one law is important and the other one isn't. Most of my 4+ lane driving these days is on what you might call urban expressways, and ALL the lanes are well traveled.
the speed law is important . lots of tickets given for it. travelling in the left lane causes way more accidents . I have driven an average of 450 miles a day,for 45 years and witnessed this . Blocking the left lane, has the the speeders using all lanes and shoulders causing mayhem
