Ordered the Minotaur mtac holster for my m&p 45c last Sunday and received it in the mail Friday. Looks great, trying to break it in so I've been carrying ever since. Anyone ever have problems with it?

I have 3 Minotaurs that I use for 7 different handguns. The changeable shells for $38 are a great deal. I have used this holster exclusively for the last 3 years. The only problem I have had has to do with the detent on the trigger guard on some of the shells. The Walther PPS for example, was super difficult to draw because of the shape and size of the detent. I called Comp-Tac and told them about it and they said send it back. No offer to pay shipping, no gaurantee on how long it would take. A little heat and a butterknife fixed it. After that experience I just fixed the next 2 myself. One was so tight I would actually have to take the holster off to get the gun out. I e-mailed them and included pictures of the exaggerated detent they put on that holster and never got a reply. Oh well, in today's world I just expect it. I still think their Minotuar is the best deal going though.
It covers the barrel completely unlike the Inbreed or whatever it's called and also comes with nondescript clips vs. the silly crosses that practically scream "Look here!" + the changeable shell option is a biggie to me. And mine never really needed any kind of a break in period, just adjust the tension to your gun and wear it. It will loosen with use but you will notice it. Enjoy.

Thanks Reggie, I'll keep an eye on that problem. It's a shame that customer service is alittle lacking.

I also have three Minotaurs and have sold 20 or 30 at the LGS. Be careful not to tighten the retention screws too much. You must judge the retention while wearing the holster, as half the retention comes from the Kydex molding and the other from the pressure of your hip against the leather backer. It may seem a bit loose with the holster in your hand, but try it on before you get out the hex wrench. I haven't tried every holster out there, but so far this Comp-Tac is the best answer for long-term carry with big, heavy weapons. Your M&P is light, so all the better!
