Wasn't really out shopping for one, but when I saw it in the shops case I knew it had to come home with me. I figured I would never find a nicer one.

Gun, Box, paperwork, 3 S&W mags and a still sealed cleaning kit. Was told it was just but on consignment.

The checkering feels like it was cut yesterday. I guessing it's a 1971 or so vintage.

AH, Nov. 1972 back at the old gun shop where I worked. Dove season over and deer, duck and goose in full swing. A real nip in the air. Thru the door the new guy walks in. He wants a m-39. I think about $90 and out the door with gun and a box of ball ammo. Yes, the good ole days.

Very nice OP. A nickel one followed me home this weekend too. I need to take some better pictures of it. Mine came with 3 mags, the box, manual/parts list, a card about adjusting the sight, wax paper, and partial tool kit (missing the cleaning rod and swab, but had the brush and screw driver). Serial# A1460XX. Pistol looks brand new.39-2.jpg
