I found this well worn 4 screw N frame at a little show on Saturday.
I meet up with fourm member & my old table pard Doublesharp to check out an 80 table gunshow that has always been a winner for a good gun or two.
Mod 27 3 &1/2 inch bbl., serial numbered in the 209 thousand range.
Shows lotsa' wear but no buggered screw heads and no "push off".
I changed the "cutout" targets that were on it to a set of correct magnas ( number to a 204 thousand gun and still they're a little small ) with enough wear on them to look right.
First thing I did when I got home was to put 24 158gr Remington SP's through it. Shoots a little low and left but that could be me or the load.
I'm happy with it, nothing wrong with a solid gun that's got plenty of thin spots & speckles in the blue.
It gets holstered and shot without a care!
