I bought this 36-1 last year. It had a broken hammer spur, an unusually heavy trigger pull and a set of cheap rubber grips.

Changed out the hammer, put in a Wolff spring package and a set of stocks from here on the classifieds... and this is it!

I saw it as a high condition revolver that needed a little rehab to put it right. I shot a tight group at 7 paces with 158gr standard velocity ammo, probably got more in it than it's worth with all the time & parts but I'm happy with the results!:)

Beautiful, just beautiful. Congrats on the find, and the work you put in it to make it right. Money cannot replace that one.

Those smooth contoured cocobolo stocks are very hard to find, most folks hang on to 'em.

Except for the hammer and the grips it looks great. Can't comment on the springs though.......

Well, what did you expect us to say?? I never saw the before pics, but she looks B E utiful!

Now, if I could just find a new hammer for my model 63 I could post a pic of MY completed project.....................oh well. :(

An outstanding restoration and photography that is second to none. Beautiful work, GF!!

Thank you for saving this great gun. I'm glad it wound up in the hands of someone who would set it right. It's a very nice piece and I'm sure you will enjoy owning and shooting it. :D
