the recent batch of 3 inch mod 10's came from australia

Did it look like the one below? I think the barrel is considered "medium-heavy".

"C.A.I." is Century Arms International (the re-importer). Mine came from J&G Sales who said these guns were originally sold to an Austrailian Police Agency. Very nice little guns which convinced me that 3" is the perfect barrel length for a K-Frame.

Yep that's the one. Went to the range today man will that thing shoot.+1one on the (perfect lenght).

BIGGUN, I recently bought a 10-8 from Buds. It is an Aussie Police turn in. Mine is a 4 incher though. I really enjoy that gun. Hope you enjoy yours! Bob

My3 in was from up your way bananaman. do you shop at jaqua's in findley?

BIGGUN, Many years ago, I bought some shotguns there. About 2 years ago, I bought a Beretta PX4 Storm there. .40, new in box $479. It is my favorite auto. It is an impressive place. I used to go there more often, but with the price of gas, I don't. Bob

That's a beauty, got a 3" 10-7 myself and really enjoyed it. Little more custom work done to it and it even looks as good as it shoots.
Happy Holidays

But I could not walk away with out a 3in heavy 10

Handiest barrel length for 38/357 revolvers. 3" gives you a full-length extractor rod. Plus a little extra barrel length for burning powder. Cannot find any for sale here in the People's Republik.

I have owned four of them over the years (10/13/64/65), Why, of course, I don't any of them any more. The 2 1/2" barrel is almost as handy.
