Picked up a 10-7 from Palmetto's Black Friday one day special. Figured $399 can't go wrong. Was surprised it was import marked, don't remember reading that in their description. Fine by me. I thought the serial number was odd, maybe not, but then saw the discreet import stamp. From the S&W bible looks like a lot of countries used these - Australia, Peru, etc.. Any way to tell w/o getting a letter where it's from? Just curious.

There's a few threads going on about these right now. I'd check some of those threads.

You could also email or call PSA and ask if they know where they came from? Or the importer?

I know Bud's was selling the exact gun about 10+ years ago and they came from Australia.

Thanks. Yes, I bought a 3" from Buds back then and they were advertised as Australian - had a weird qr code stamp on them - not sure if that was from the pd or from buds? Thanks for the info., I'll check around more.
