On impulse I bid on & won a Peruvian contract Model 10-7 2"snub and I want to fact check here what I think I've learned. They were all made in 1984 for Peru's equivalent to of our FBI but never shipped to Peru. This was due to Peru transitioning to a national police force and disbanding PIP.. I read they made 1,984 of them which were offered to US dealers after the contract was canceled. I believe PIP also used fixed sight Model 19s & Model 36s. Any corrections or additional info appreciated.

I would like to see one of those fixed sight Model 19's mentioned in the OP. Sounds like a bad *** fighting handgun.

Here's one....Looks a lot like a Model 13 except for the extractor rod shroud.
