I just located and put a model 10-1 HB in layaway. It has after market imitation pearl grips on it. What would
Be the correct factory grips for the weapon of 10-1?

Hello thomp, tuff without a serial number. The 10-1 was into. Apr. 1959.
If early could be diamond magnas. If after 1968 probably non-diamonds.
Not hard to find after you ascertain date of mfg.

I do believe that it's not that tough, as by 1968 and the disappearance of the diamond the 10-6 was the HB version in production and the 10-1 had not been produced for several years.

Rounded-shoulder diamond magnas it is.

Earlier postwar Magnas, until the early 1950s, had a different style, usually called the sharp shoulder. Afterwards, they had a sloped shoulder. Try eBay. Normally many are listed there. I think the earlier sharp shoulder Magnas look classier.

One additional point, they would be the rounded bottom (modified or PC style) diamond Magnas, square butt. Good luck in your search.

The attached picture shows the correct style. These are from 1959, so that would be the correct time frame.
