Model 10 3 inch

I don't know if this is the right place to put this but I figured that this would be the right time period for my question.If you have a model 10, 3 inch revolver would you be kind enough to share a picture.Thanks in advance.

Prior to sometime in the 1980's the 3" was a special order and they are not encountered for sale very often. I'll bet someone will post a picture of one soon.

Lower left corner is my 3" Model 10-5. The serial number of C774*** should put it around 1963-65. As you can see, it has a target trigger and bobbed hammer. I don't believe it was a factory bobbed hammer.

Fortunately I have one. This one came with TS from the factory as noted on the label.

Here is a SB 10-4 and a RB 10-8.

The 10-8 was in rough shape so I had a local person do a matte blueing. In retrospect I wish I would have returned it to the mothership.

Model 10 no dash 3" Blue square butt, special order for Rex Firearms and shipped in 1959.
Nickel 10-8 3" round butt shipped in 1982.

I swapped this nickel S&W 10-8 for a Glock 17 several years ago. The guns were practically the same size but the Glock had greater capacity.
