i just got a nickle model 10-8 98% just trying to get an estimated value before i sell it.

if you just got it , why do you want to sell it?

Fuzzy: If it's a 4" I suppose "fair" would be anywhere between $350and $400 (the nickel would be a bit of a premium). If it had the original grips and box -- add perhaps $50. There is no shortage of 4" 10s.
