Model 10 Snubby Picture Thread!

I only own 1 Model 10 snub... normally my K- frame guns have 4 or 6” barrels and my snubs are on small frames. Anyway, I got this Model 10-7 as a sweetener in a trade and let my late father have it. My gunsmith bobbed the hammer for him and I replaced the smooth combats (for a square butt ) that came on it with original type RB Magnas ant a Tyler T-grip. About 6 months before he passed he gifted it back to me... AFAIK he never actually carried it in the 20+ years he owned it.

I'm sorry to hear about your father, but the gun is very nice! I had never liked revol ers growing up, but I always had a thing for snubs of any size. To me, they are like a sawed off revolver.

Here’s mine with a Tyler T Grip.

That is one of my few dream guns. I love that the t grip has an old school box, that is very cool. I'd love to have one of those guns, but for now I must settle for the stainless cousin.

Here’s mine. 10-5 square butt. 10-7 round butt and a 3” no dash that was supposedly special ordered by a local sheriff in 1960.

Very nice set! I love the two snubs and I really like the 3 inch with a square butt. I don't much dig the 3binch heavy barrel RB's, but the SB one I like a lot.

My S&W model 10-6 nickel RB

Very nice! I'm going to try and make my stainless one as close to nickel looking as possible. Gonna polish it up very well and replace the hammer and trigger with case hardened ones.

NICE! Can I get a picture of it out of the holster?

Sure. The only pics I have out of holster are shown with
other guns.
The one on the left is shown with my 4" model 10.
On the right is shown with my Colt's Agent.

Very nice! I love the snub 10 SB, they look so cool. All these old guns look like works of art. Seriously, they look like some beautiful handmade art work. Which is what they are in my opinion.

That is a really nice picture. I love the angle, it shows it just right. I try taking pictures of mine from different angles to try and get just the right picture.
