Will a spring kit for a K and L frame work on a M-12-2? I think I read somewhere that the frame was not exactly the same as a standard K frame until the M12-4 version. I want to tune my recent purchase and am not sure if a spring kit is the same.

The alloy frame of the Model 12, 12-1, 12-2 and 12-3 is .080" thinner than the K frame.

I just checked Wolff's website and unfortunately they don't differentiate between the narrow grip frame and wider one. Targets Guy has the right idea.

There is no difference between steel K-frame and aluminum K-Frame revolvers springs. On all models from 12 through 12-3 the internal parts and the stocks are different because of the thinner frame.
