Model 14-3 surprise

I bought a real clean model 14 several years ago at a gun show in Reno. Yesterday I removed the grips and found a piece of paper attached inside the left grip. The paper contained a name and address in Alexandria Va., I assume of a prior owner. With a s/n of 8K363xx can anyone provide the date of this revolver?

1975 is close, but actually 1976 would be the manufacture year:
8K20763 - 8K80000 for 1976.
