I traded for a nice Model 14, circa 1972 manufacture. Seems to me the gun was set up for bullseye - it has a nice single action trigger pull but only so-so in double action.

I would like to get some recommendations on good Smith gunsmiths to consider sending it to to get the double action trigger nice and smooth.

Thanks in advance.

You might try Sand Burr Gun Ranch in Indiana.

Gunsmith D.O. (Denny) Reichard is a well respected Revolver-GunSmith.

Thanks Moonman. A friend also mentioned Sand Burr. I'll check it out.
