I posted this Model 14 no dash (April 1959 per Mike Helms) a couple weeks ago and yes...it came to me with PC Magna's that you experts determined from the serial number were probably a 1973 D prefix K Frame like a Model 10-5, etc.
So I went searching for some period correct, diamond around the screw escutcheon, checkered Targets or diamond checkered Magna's. Lo and behold....was able to source some walnut Targets from the late 50's.
Below pics are the incorrect PC magna's and the period correct Targets. I like the Targets for shooting so will leave them on and relegate the PC Magna's to the grip stash box to be sold whenever I get a round touit.
The Targets just make this gun pop!
I'm also on the hunt for a set of period correct diamond, checkered Service Magna's...then I'll be all set no matter which way the Letter comes back saying how it shipped back in 1959.
