Maybe I don't understand what you're asking, but the 15 and 67 are both double action revolvers that can also be fired single action by cocking the hammer. If they can't be cocked they have been altered. Is this the case?

If you mean they are double action only then you just might like them that way since they've probably been worked over as well. And the double action will be perfect for precise placements, just like you might
imagine a single action.

Depending on how they were converted to Double Action Only, you will at least need to replace the hammer and possibly the trigger as well.

Hope this helps.

I think the OP is referring to the DAO LE-trade-in M15s and M67s recently offered by J&G Sales.

The most common way to convert a S&W revolver to DAO is to file the single-action sear off the hammer, but it can also be done by filing the SA notch off the trigger.

Be aware, however, that installing a new hammer and/or trigger may require hand fitment by someone who knows what they're doing. Simply dropping in a new hammer sometimes works, but sometimes it doesn't. You may need a gunsmith. :)

Hammer or trigger usually the hammer. You see these for sale from $15-$50 on ebay and other sources.

I have found that maybe 90% of the time new hammers and triggers are drop in fit with S&Ws.

thanks for the responces would ebay have the double action only or the unaltered hammer and triggers or are there other sources that i could aquire these parts. also as far what will fit these guns will any k frame internal parts fit?

I don't think E-Bay allows sales of any firearm parts except stocks, grips, boxes, etc. Check on this forum for parts.

Hope this helps.

Though I'm a bit reluctant to suggest them for personal reasons try"e-gun parts.com". Their actual business name is Numrich Corp. Of course you can always try S&W directly. The 15 and 67 are K frame models. K frames are still in production although with new style hammers but none the less the company is very likely to have what you need.
