Model 19-7, what year?

I have searched the forum for info, but not found any, so I ordered myself a copy of "the bible"...

But I can't wait the five days for it to be delivered, so I will ask the readers of this forum who already has a copy for a production/shipment year.....

It's model 19-7 with serial number CCM9508.
Blued with a four inch barrel.

January - March 1998​

Product code for the standard 4-inch gun was 100705. The -7 is factory drilled and taped for a scope base under the rear sight assembly,

In September of 1998 the M19 became the -8 and got the new style frame and MIM trigger and hammer. You have one of the last -7 with the more desirable forged hammer and trigger.

Thank you for a quick answer, yes, the hammer and trigger have the colorful appearance from the hardening process.
