Model 1955, .45 ACP Help

I think you made a very good deal if the 98% does not mean appreciable muzzle wear....

If you are unsure of your purchase or have second thoughts, send me photos and if it looks right to me I'll buy it for more than what you paid for it.
 
Here's mine from about 1954. I had to buy the stocks separately as some previous owner put the wrong ones on this gun.

I paid a bit more than you did and I don't think I got taken. 5-screw N-frames just don't come cheep any more, at least not in any of the places I can find them.

Okay, here's your positive re-inforcement.....
I never feel bad about the price I pay for a firearm, even though it's difficult to find the funds. I may be somewhat discouraged if it's not a good shooter, but I never look back about money. It's just money!!
When you make a good score like the one you have, that's what it's all about! Even if it were a common, run-of-the-mill shooter-grade
S&W, you'd still be coming out ahead. Congratulations on a great gun!
