Yeah, it starts w/ a 4 inch blue. Then you have to get a 4 inch nickel to match, then you figure the 2 1/2 inch blue would be a good one to add, then it's partner in nickel...

I bought this texas ranger set new in the 70s when they came out and havent fired it yet! What are they going for these days?

It seems that the bbl,frame/sight base does not mate up.What is up with that?Still a great gun.

I don't have a 19 but do have a 2 1/2" 66, 3" 65, and a 4 " 686. A 4" 19 or 66 would be good. Funny I like the blue guns but seem to have quite a few stainless ones. My Colts and S&W 10,28, 547, Beretta 92F and Sig SP 2340 are all blue. What's wrong here? Oh well I can live with them.
 
No Sich Thang as an Ugly 19

My preferred bar-be-que and groundhog gun (loaded with .38 148 gr. wadcutters). Simple elegance, elegantly simple. It's everything you need in a combat revolver (or a groundhog gun), and nuthin' you don't.
