I have one of these 4' .45 ACP beauties, and since they are ( at least I assume they are ) now out of production again, does that add any value to this piece ? Or, am I just being ignorant about the realities of the market. My accumulation of weapons is always changing, and I don't want to give away the ranch on this one. Thanks for looking.

It's worth plenty! Stick around for the experts to answer, but AFAIK the value never dropped as a result of new production. They are really two different things, entirely.

Is yours factory nickel? letter? photos?

If you are referring to a post 1950 model marked (1957 on) nickel m22 I would think that is a rare bird indeed.

Pics would be nice and I'm sure others will chime in.

If you have a recent production model 22-4, it's a nice gun and hasn't appreciated too much since being dropped from the line. If you have a 1950 era pre-22 or model stamped 22 in nickel, a whole different story.

Annoying value question

Alas, I am such a tyro, I didn't specify the 22-4 part. It is relatively new ( 2-3 years ). I will assume it didn't slip much and is probably worth 6C +/-. Yes. it is factory nickel, and thank you for your responses.
