Model 22 No dash

Nice overcast day yesterday, so finally got some "good" shots of the Mod 22. Roy says it was shipped in April 1959. 2 clicks should enbiggen the pics.

SCSW says there's not too many of these. Interestingly, per the serial number thread, the S/N is only on the butt- see pic#3

Sorry for the oily blotches- the t-shirt wipe down was only moderately effective.

The K-22’s have, without a doubt, stolen my heart (and wallet[emoji16]). One of my favorites from 1952 ......

Not a K22, this one is in .45 acp. Model marked version of the Mod 1950 Military (N frame).

That's a beautiful revolver. I posted this model 22 no dash awhile back. It is also has the serial number only on the butt.

Not a K22 or even a Model 22, the closest ocan come to tgat is a Model 1950 Army, built in 1950.

(edit 19 December). Correction, got my revolvers confused, the 1950 Army was built in 52-53.

Indeed! And with the wider sight of the Model 1950, easy to find and use.

I have several Models with “improved” sights. We should start a thread, just not sure in what section to start it!
