I love mine
Easy to take down
Cheap acurate and reliable-shoots every ammo I've tried
Just spent almost the cost of the gun on a Burris red dot for it

I've had my 22A since they first came out in 1997.
It's one of my favorite .22's, and I have a bunch of them.

It's very accurate for an inexpensive pistol. I have a scope on mine, and I can hit a 50-round .22 LR box easily with it well past 25 yards.
I can't remember a single jam with it in all the years I've owned it.

A tale of woe....

I bought one for my daughter a few years back.

Second hand so I had to pop a few rounds just to see if it'd actually work. I put 'em into the X-ring.... Becka put about two magazines through it and demanded my Commander. Boring.... :D

When we cleaned it the blue paint came off the barrel....

Takedown's a bear too - the spring is awfully tight :) .... Re-assembly's a little goofy but if you like the P22 it's EASY.... :D

This one's got the big "Target" grips and the 7" barrel. Tack driver....

Unfortunately my buddy Joe has an M41 and Becka likes it better. Can't afford one of those unless I trade her and the M22A.... The wife doesn't approve of that.

Overall IMHO if you can afford the M41 it's a better choice. Otherwise it's a superb plinker. Neither of these are truly "target" guns but they're good enough for most of us for non-match use.

And then some....

Reliability has been 100% btw. No failures other than an occasional fail to ignite. That's normal with .22's....

Regards

I echo the positive comments already stated as far as accuracy. I shoot mine at 50 yards with a scope and do well. The only issue is FTE when I load the mag with 10 rounds on the first shot. If I load 8 or 9 no problem.
