Model 24-6

I just picked up a LNIB Model 24-6 at a local show. It's too new to be included in my SCSW 3rd edition. It does have the IL but the finish is the deep blue and not a scratch . Can anyone give me a clue as to value, date of birth, etc? SN is DCF-4XXX. Best I've been able to find is that it's one of the "New Classics" that Smith was making and has since been discontinued.

Talked with SW CS this afternoon and the 24-6's dob is May of 2008. Dug around in my files and found some info I'd forgotten: If you've got the original box of a SW revolver, there will be 4 digit number,The first digit indicates the year, the next three the day in that year. So 2150 would be the 150th day of 2012. This is the ship date or very close to the date it was released for shipping according to SW a few years ago. Not sure how far back this applies.
