Your opinion on Bodyguard 2.0 vs LCP Max?

I have both and the BG2.0 is a tiny amount longer and taller, but thinner. It certainly is much easier to grip, shoot and control. I have no problem pocket carrying either. The LCP Max will be gone shortly, never to be missed.

My question is (other than capacity) if you want something to simply drop in gym shorts pocket. Why not a regular LCP? I've handled and fired all three. I've had all three in my pocket. The BG and Max feel like a mini 9 when compared to the LCP. May as well get a 365 or Hellcat.
IME, the BG2.0 is superior to both the BG1.0 and the LCP. Easier controls, higher capacity, better shooter. The trigger safety is much better than the one the BG1.0 has.
The BG2.0 has a split feed ramp and, IME, JHP rounds to do feed reliably. Previously, I used Sig Crown V ammo but they wouldn't feed consistently. Switching to Hornady Critical Defense FTX (a filled tip JHP which mimics a FMJ round) solves the feeding reliability issue.
I will also polish feed ramp and do so when I clean the pistol).

Yes it's superior but at the cost of being big. I'd step up to a 9mm if carrying that much bulk

What "bulk"? It's tiny and very thin.
I think it's big for a 380. In my mind the whole idea of a 380 is that it's much smaller than a 9. This is where the LCP shines. The BG2 not so much. Just my opinion

Depends on the pants you wear. All of mine have bellows pockets.
