Model 27 question

A 5" 27-2. Compare. I have never seen a 5" 27 with a Patridge sight.

You could get a Patridge front sight on any barrel length Model 27-2. For example:

BTW, OP's gun looks like a five-inch to me.

Definitely a 6" barrel. Like has been said before, the seller is measuring the barrel wrong and measuring from the barrel end to the face of the frame instead of to the face of the cylinder.

I am sitting here looking at my 5 inch 27-2. That is definitely a 6 inch BBL.

Well my 27 is the ultra rare 5-7/8”. Only two were made and I’m quite sure that’s the other one! Tongue firmly in cheek.
