I have a line on a blued 6" model 27 with presentation case and tools in like new condition. Possibly unfired. Can you give me a ballpark on what this revolver is worth. I have not seen the gun and I have no other info at this point. The gentleman has my contact information should he decide to sell it. Thanks in advance for our help

The advice that was given to me was that any pre-lock N Frame purchased for less than 1K is a good deal.

I think I've seen one described like yours go for 1100 to 1300 on Gunbroker.

Ok I misremembered the spec's on the gun. It is described as a 5" barrel. Old age getting to me. Does this make the gun worth more or less?

My package is currently at $1,600. Purportedly unfired, 1980 Model 27-2, 6" P&R, Nickel, with all accessories, blue box, presentation case, tools, docs, and outer card board shipping container.

SCSW 4th says 5" bbl eliminated in 1979, target stocks standard beginning 1980 so when you see it you can go from there.

I agree that S prefix should be more but I don't know how much as my only S prefix is actually a blued 6-1/2" "Pre-27" from 1952 (95% NRA) and I have gun only valued at $1,300 for my records.

For sure they don't make anything like these guns anymore, so if you want it, make the deal and let us see some pics...love to see others good fortune and finds.
