Model 28-2 6"

I picked this 6" 28-2 up as part of a trade deal today.

Serial # N268606 I suspect it's a late 60s or early 70s gun....Any help as to year would be appreciated.

It's in very nice shape and it does not look like it's been shot very much.

Question:

It has the target hammer/trigger on it. I thought they came with the standard trigger/hammer.

Most likely 1975-76. Look at the label on the end of the box and it should be noted if the target trigger of hammer were on the gun from the factory. Very nice!

The label is right ratty but it looks like just a check mark in the two boxes and a S in the grip box.

The 28-2 I just bought has a serial s291... and it was made in 1967. It also has the same trigger as yours has.
The N for the 28-2 prefix started in 1969 with N 1. N 200,000 serial numbers began in 1974 and used to and including 1977.
