Hey guys,
Hope maybe someone could help me, I saw a nice model 29-2 6 1/2" at a gun show here in the nashville area this past weekend and took the sellers card. I haven't been able to get it off my mind and so I contacted him to see if it was still around; turns out he still has it, and wants 699->775 w tax otd. I know it's difficult to pin it down without pictures, but is that reasonable for a...I'd say 99% blued 29-2, gun only, without the original grips (valueless pachs)??

Thank you I'm advance,
CRF

well if the gun is in as good a shape as you think, 775 would be a as much as id wanna pay for it. + you have to account for it being in .44 mag and that kinda ammo is getting more and more expencive by the minute. that stuffs more than a dollar a round these days... but i dont think i would mind sleeping close to it at night.................welcome to the forum btw ;D

You can't pay too much, only too soon. It will be worth more than that in 5 years.

If it was at a major show with good attendance and didn't sell for $700, might mean it has some issues. Just because it looks "purdy" doesn't mean it has not been fired thousands of rounds. Proceed with caution, try not to make an emotional decision, which I realize is difficult at times! Good luck, if it truely checks out at 98-99%, the price is very good.

If the lock up is tight and the revolver looks as clean as you say I'd say in todays market that is a good deal.

If you don't want it, send me the sellers number ------ :D
As hard as they are to find, jump on it, not a bad price at all.

Hey guys, thanks for all the quick advice I appreciate it. Going to take ride over to the shop today for a more comprehensive look over. If all is well ill sleep on it tonight and go pick it up to morning (yeah right haha). Either way ill get some pictures up and maybe you guys could tell me what you think.
Thanks again,
CRF

Also forgot to mention, white outline rear sights w/ orange front; that do anything for value/desirability?
