Model 29-2 found....did I do good?

Can I run todays commercial ammo in it? Is there a round recommended for it. I don't reload.....yet.

I have too many different calibers in my arsenal but the .44 would be the last to go. I really am most fond of it.
I have two a 629-6 inch and my fav a 629 3 inch.
I shoot lots of different loads , but my Fav and the most comfortable is from Bitteroot Valley Ammunition 240 gr lswc you can google them .
It is American made and is reasonably priced.
I load my own now ,but I still have a few boxes of the BVA.
