Yesterday I was fourtunate enough to purchess a 29-2, 4 in Smith & Wesson for $500.00 in good condition 1962 vintage. I fired it late last night at my range by the light of my automobile. WOW what an incredible experience, the absolute controlable power simply reaffirmes what makes these weapons so collectable. I will more than likely go to the Hogue grip prior to my next trip to the range, because I still remain addicted to the N Frames, and fire some of mine on a regular basis. Just felt compelled to share in my excitment.

Your absolutely got a smoking deal on that revolver.

Probably not those but I will look through my stash, I pick up grips as I can and have 15 to 20 sets, I beleive I have at least 1 set that will meet your needs. Will get back to you after 6:00 wether I do or not just to let you know.

That sounds like a once in a lifetime deal! Please post some pictures so we can drool. Brian

29-2

Sounds like a good deal, hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it! Was just looking, those 29-2 were made for a long time, 1961 thru 1982 when the 29-3 came out. I got mine in '77 new. Is your's blued or nickeled? Here's my nickeled -2. (Gets a good diet of lead :p)

It is blued, like I said good shape trying to figure out how to post photo, then will post. Once in a life time deal: absolutely! I wish I could get deals like this daily, but unfortunately I spend more than I want to on many and less on the few.

Be Well
Ted

What a deal! please post pictures when you can! you did very well on it and if it has the original stocks on it its just that much sweeter :D

Did you put a gun to someone's head to get that 29-2? That was a steal! Congrats on your find. I've got a nickeled 29-2 from 1973. I'm sure that one from 1962 is finished better. Enjoy!

I also was fortunate to run across a "smokin" deal this week on a 1976 triple T Dirty Harry 29-2 6.5" in blue 97% I would say. What a sweeeeet wheeler!!!
