Model 29 and 629 Why the popularity?

I only own one .44 Magnum. Shipped January 14th 1964 my 6.5" M29-2.

This one is all I need.

Need? Pfffft! If you have any spare time Kenny, I have a few that need polishing.

This is what I always used my M29 for. This one went away so that a M629 could take it's place in the woods.
