Model 34

Saw a real nice Model 34 no dash 4" at a local pawn shop, has Pachmyer grips and typical cylinder scoring. Overall blueing is excellent. SN# is 519XX. Origional box is included. Looking for info on DOB and in what price range would this be. Shop has a price of 775.00 on it.
No pictures at this point.

I would guess a 1958(?) ship date, and in my opinion about $150-200 high on the price. Factor in finding a set of original diamond Magna stocks if you desire an "original" gun too.

I could never shoot one well. Loved the little beauty’s but compared to the heft and different trigger of a K-Frame, I gave up on 34’s.

And the price on yours is way to high without original Stocks.
As a rule, I never mess with re-blues or non-original guns anymore.
I’d rather have fewer, but nicer guns.

I agree that price is $150 to $200 high. About $500 is more 'normal' for a 4" blued 34.

That said; I saw a flat latch 2" 34 with original stocks for $600 at the LGS last weekend. It was in good shape, but I passed. That's probably the going price for a 2" with original stocks though.
