I have a S&W Model 35 22lr revolver in the box with the wax paper. The serial # is 46XXX and S&W dated it at 1957-1958. I'd estimate the condition is between 95%-98%. Anyone have any ideas how much it's worth?

I'll add pics when I get back from the office this afternoon.

:o

these are becoming very collectable and the values are reflecting that. the last one i bought was a pre model 35 paid $750 with box, papers and tool kit. this was about 2 years ago, i'd say $900 to $1200 depending on conition and how bad someone wants it........

That would be my estimate, too. A high condition Model 35 would set you back at least a grand without the box, and a shooter (if you can find one a little rough) would be in the $800-900 range. Sounds like you have a valuable specimen.

And welcome to the forum. Nice way to make an entrance!

Does your paperwork show the flatlatch and diamond grips? i own a few 35s but havn't found earlier paperwork if it was made.only combo 34-35 without diamond i have seen.

Thanks for the replies.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures. I couldn't get any decent lighting inside and the shadows were getting long outside when I snapped these.

I don't have any paperwork with it, just the revolver, wax paper, and the box. The revolver is a little dinged up and has some wear marks on the cylinder but nothing too bad. You can see what I mean in the close up shot.
