I picked up this used 351c, my first .22 WMR, last week. Good price at a local store. Light strikes at least 33% of the time. No surprise. It had a light trigger pull. I suspected that somebody installed a reduced power spring kit to soften the pull. The .38 centerfire springs are too light for a rimfire. So, swapped in the factory correct spring and it’s 100% reliable. A bit stiffer but that’s fine with me.

Factory correct spring on the left. It’s much heavier.

I have been looking for one of those for my D-I-L, with no luck.

It appears your lanyard pin is missing.

Oh man. I did not notice it missing. Must have fallen out when the grips came off.

So, I looked and found the pin on the floor in the kitchen. What luck. My wife runs one of thise Shark / robot vacuum things most every day. It would have been gone by tomorrow.

You’re my hero. Saved the pin. Thanks.

My 351c is an enjoyable gun to shoot. When new, the trigger pull was a bit long.....but it smoothed out over time

Sometimes the centerfire springs work ok.
My 18-3 and 43C both have the heavy rimfire hammer spring replaced by the standard .38 version, both guns have fired about 500 rds of mixed brands of .22LR with no misfires.
My Glock 44 (like a G19 but .22) comes with a different firing pin that caused it to have a heavier pull, I put in a 1/2 lb lighter striker spring, it too has gone over 500 rds with no misfires. And the trigger is now the same weight as my other Glocks.

The only way to know is to try it. If you carry the gun for serious purposes, try it a LOT, with your carry ammo, before trusting it.

I apologize for the delay but I looked everywhere for these then miraculously went straight to them tonight. As you can see, the far left secures by a simple loop, the middle ones have a jewelry type clasp and the ones to the far right have a hook. These come in a wide variety of colors, as long as you want grey or black. Pick one out, or a few out and I will get them in the mail tomorrow. P.M. me an address.

Can I ask where you got the OEM spring. I sent a request to S&W but have not gotten any response.
