Model 36 DOB

I hate to ask but I see others do it so much, I guess I'll jump right in too.
Recently picked up a pinned, short barrel Model 36 serial number J549XXX.
The revolver is in very good condition and will be a night stand companion. I would appreciate some one give me an estimation of the date it was shipped. I was told it might be around 1969. Thanks in advanced.

J549XXX was likely produced in 1977.
