A Model 36, two-tone /Pinto has a nickel cylinder, not stainless steel

Since the cylinder is the only part of my 49 Bodyguard that has damaged finish, I wondered what it would look like "pinto'd-out".

How good are parts from Numrich? Any guarantee? There are a couple of cylinders on GunBroker but I'm just not sure I can tell how good they are. Pics just don't do it.

Tom - when you change out barrels and cylinders they will need to be "fitted" by a quality/ knowledgeable Gunsmith.
As far as Numrich and guarantee, I think you are buying parts "as advertised".

As far as Numrich and guarantee, I think you are buying parts "as advertised".

Yep, the plan was to have a gunsmith do the work. Cylinder and Slide will make the change and do good work but I need to furnish the cylinder. I guess that as long as the stainless cylinder's chambers are OK, a person can polish the heck out of the cylinder.
