model 36 with pics

My Model 36. I bought it by searching Gun Broker for a seller in CA. I had to drive 60 miles to his FFL, but I paid only $450 (in CA!), so I'm happy. It sleeps in my nightstand. I like the Hogue grips because the original wood grips are just too small for me to get a good grip.

I picked up this 3” model 36-1 on Gunbroker a few months ago for $285. The hammer is cut down to about the same as what yours is broken off. I would thing that yours was cut down if you weren’t so sure that it broke.

Actually those are Pachmayr compacts, but I agree with you. Nice score!
