I told the guy bought it from I thought it was late 60s. So I was pretty much right on. I've been wanting one of these for quite a while now. Just took the grips off and they match The serial number. Very excited

Model 36's are pretty neat. I never owned 1 until this year. Bought 1st in July (1981) and 3" (1957) in Sept. Really like the 3 incher. The target grips on it that I picked up feel great. Bob
