Thanks to two-bit cowboy, I know that this is a late 1970 model. I bought it off Gunbroker because the pictures showed what I thought were marks in the finish. I was going to carry it in my pocket. I guess I am going to find another one that is beat to hell finish-wise, because I'd hate to mar this one up. The only real sign of wear are the grips, which I bought off of e-bay. It had a set of ugly Hogue's on it when it arrived.

That's a great looking one squid8286; the bluing is beautiful! I agree with not wanting to put any undo marks on it either. But, she still needs to be shot from time to time. I'm sure you'll be able to find one that's already got some miles on it.

I full intended this as a carry gun. I don't know why the pictures on GB showed a lot of flaws (or what I thought were flaws.) It was the lighting I suppose. THe only mark on it is what you can barely see on the cylinder release latch in the picture.
